Since New Year’s Eve 2025, all eyes have been on the Swiss resort of Crans-Montana , where a nightclub fire claimed the lives of several people, including minors. One of them, Trystan Pidoux, who was only 17 at the time, perished in the flames. This was a tragedy for his parents, especially his mother, Vinciane Stucky, who sent out numerous appeals to witnesses for help in locating her son. After a delay in identification, the boy was scheduled to be buried on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, giving his loved ones the opportunity to say their final goodbyes. Unfortunately, the tragedy took a new turn when the funeral was postponed: at the request of the authorities, who had to perform an autopsy on the young man, his body was taken from his parents at a very early stage of mourning.
